Niwot captured its third Class 4A boys team title in program history with a 58-104 victory against Cheyenne Mountain, winner of the past two crowns, at the Colorado High School Activities Association Cross Country Championships at Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs. Rocco Culpepper led the Cougars by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 15:27.8 to place third, with Cole Mazurana earning eighth in 15:45.3, Ryder Keeton taking 11th in 15:56.0, Hunter Robbie achieving 20th in 16:13.1 and Evan Kear capturing 21st in 16:14.0, with Keegan Geldean grabbing 25th in 16:21.5 and Quinn Sullivan securing 26th in 16:24.0 for the Cougars, who also won Class 4A titles in 2019 and 2020.
