Eva Klingbeil, Madison Shults, Bella Nelson, Stella Vieth, Sierra Parks, Mia Prok and Sarah Perkins led Niwot High of Colorado to victory in the girls 5-kilometer gold race at the RunningLane Cross Country Championships at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Ala. Niwot had five scorers in the top 75 overall, led by Klingbeil placing seventh in 16:44.69, to prevail against Buchanan High of California by a 112-140 margin. All seven Niwot athletes ran under 18 minutes.
