Zane Bergen, a senior at Niwot High in Colorado, finished fourth at the Eastbay Cross Country Championships at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego. Bergen, a Stanford commit, covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:20.2 to contribute to the Midwest placing five scorers in the top 15, as the All-American lineup prevailed by a 32-49 margin over the Northeast. Bergen became the first athlete in program history to earn All-America honors in the history of the Kinney/Foot Locker/Eastbay national final.
