REAL Training, representing Niwot High in Colorado, won the 5-kilometer girls championship race at NXR Southwest at Coyote Run Golf Course at Leisure World in Mesa, Ariz. REAL Training won the event for the first time with a 67-84 victory against Lone Peak from Utah, earning its third consecutive berth to Nike Cross Nationals on Dec. 3 at Glendoveer Golf Course in Oregon. Addison Ritzenhein, a freshman, was ninth in 17:40.58, Mia Prok placed 14th in 17:54.73, Anna Prok achieved 18th in 18:03.94, Olivia Alessandrini secured 21st in 18:09.66, Madison Shults took 23rd in 18:14.48, Lex Bullen finished 27th in 18:19.40 and Bella Nelson earned 57th in 18:53.40 for REAL Training.
